Samara's Aid Appeal

On Sunday April 30 and May 7 we will collect and pack donations of clothes and shoes to send to refugees in Syria

Samara's Aid Appeal

Samara's Aid Appeal is a self-funded appeal operating under the auspices of Feed the Hungry, registered charity in England and Wakes (1112955).

Much of our aid goes to the people in need of humanitarian relief that other aid agencies have missed, or people who are scattered across areas where they cannot access help themselves.

We need donations of immaculate items listed below (if used they must be washed):

  • CLOTHES - ALL SEASONS (no shorts or short skirts), new and used – adult, child & baby
  • COATS & SNOWEAR, new and used – adult, child & baby
  • NEW UNDERWEAR only (no used), with tags or in packaging
  • SHOES (polished) All seasons in immaculate condition
  • BOOTS & WELLY BOOTS, clean, adult/child

Please bring to the Church Hall on Sunday April 30 or Sunday May 7 after the morning service. If you can obtain banana boxes (with lids) from your local supermarket, please donate them to us. We would also be grateful for donations to cover shipping: £5 per bin bag or £10 per box. If you can stay to help with packing, we would be delighted!
