We have planned a ‘Community Bunting Project’ in honour of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and have invited schools, care homes and almshouses to join us. The idea is that anyone in our community can make a triangle of bunting, of their own design. Our Minster Bunting Team will then transform the individual pieces to create a long strip of bunting which will hang in the trees on the Minster Green from June 2-5. We invite everyone to come down and enjoy seeing the bunting and join us for our Platinum Jubilee Community Picnic or one of the services on June 5.
