We’re pleased to say that tickets are now on sale for our first choral concert of the year. The varied programme features a few nods to Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, including Ralph Vaughan Williams O taste and see and William McKie We wait for thy loving kindness, sung at her coronation and wedding. We conclude the concert with the timeless Requiem of Gabriel Fauré.

This is our first concert with the full Minster Choral Foundation and Whitgift Chamber Choir for quite some time, and our first with our new Director of Music, Justin Miller, and the Minster’s Sub Organist, George Inscoe.  Entitled ‘Lux Aeterna’ or Eternal Light, we hope that the music will shed some glimmers of brightness as we head into the dark nights of winter.

The performance will last just over one hour and will proceed without an interval. Tickets are just £10 for adults, and £5 for under 18s and students. They can be purchased in advance via Eventbrite, through the Minster office, or on the door. All are welcome.
