PATRONAL FESTIVAL 2.0

St John the Baptist is our patron saint and his principal feast day, 24 June, celebrates his birth (Luke 1.5-25; 39-45; 57-80), his second feast, on 29th August, commemorates his Beheading at the hands of King Herod (see Mark 6.17-29).

There will be a Eucharist at 11am on Friday 29 August to mark the day and ask the intercession of our Patron Saint. “Come, let us adore the Lamb of God: St John went before him in his passion”
