CROYDON MINSTER HALL FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN

The Croydon Minster Hall used to serve the needs of the Minster Church as well as the wider community of Croydon.

Built in 1960, the Hall has deteriorated and now stands vacant because of disrepair. Our goal is to restore it for use by both the Church and the wider community. As a church and Christian community, we are committed not only to restoring the building, but also to nurturing the people it will serve.

Our Mission

To use the venue to help END homelessness

To serve as a retreat for missionaries

To use as a Conference venue

To use as a Creche during Church Services

Saturday social space for children: playground to give parents time off where our resolute volunteers will help children to boost their development. Many families in our community face hardship, we hope to give immediate help for young people who are in need.

We hope to enlarge and protect the spaces devoted to the community to save people from Homelessness. We are working with Night Shelter to achieve this great mission. We hope to create change that will empower the government and community with tools and skills to transform people’s lives, especially those most in need.

As we aim to repair the structure, it will help us strengthen our fellowship, trusting God to renew both our hope of worship and our mission to serve the community with compassion and grace. The Minster Church serves primarily the church community, from which flows service to all people, regardless of religion, gender, race, nationality, or ethnic background.

Future financial goals are to raise funds to maintain the facility through the following:

  • Online product sales – (e.g Croydon Minster Mugs on sale)
  • Performing Arts activities
  • Hiring Halls for Weddings, Parties (children’s birthdays and adult social activities.)
